Secure Private LLM Deployment
To mitigate the risks of data leakage associated with public AI tools, we architected and deployed a fully localised, private Large Language Model (LLM) tailored specifically for academic and administrative use at the Transnet Matlafatšo Centre (TMC) at Wits University. The solution was hosted entirely on dedicated internal infrastructure using OpenWebUI as the secure user interface. Alongside the infrastructure provisioning, we delivered custom software development to seamlessly integrate the isolated AI network with their existing internal data workflows, ensuring zero-trust compliance while drastically boosting research and administrative productivity.
